ਆਕਲੈਂਡ ਦੇ ਦੱਖਣੀ ਖੇਤਰ ਨੂੰ 50 ਸਾਲਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਸਮੇਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਮਿਲਣ ਜਾ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ। ਨਵੇਂ ਡਰੂਰੀ (Drury) ਅਤੇ ਪਾਏਰਾਤਾ (Paerātā) ਰੇਲਵੇ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਐਤਵਾਰ, 2 ਅਗਸਤ ਤੋਂ ਯਾਤਰੀਆਂ ਲਈ ਅਧਿਕਾਰਕ ਤੌਰ ‘ਤੇ ਖੋਲ੍ਹੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ। ਇਸ ਨਾਲ ਇਸ ਖੇਤਰ ਵਿੱਚ 1972 ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਵਾਰ ਯਾਤਰੀ ਰੇਲ ਸੇਵਾ ਮੁੜ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਇਹ ਦੋਵੇਂ ਨਵੇਂ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਕਲੈਂਡ ਦੀ ਸਦਰਨ ਲਾਈਨ (Southern Line) ਦਾ ਹਿੱਸਾ ਹਨ।
ਦੋਵੇਂ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ‘ਤੇ 350 ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਲਈ ਪਾਰਕ-ਐਂਡ-ਰਾਈਡ ਦੀ ਸਹੂਲਤ ਉਪਲਬਧ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਵੀਆਂ ਸਥਾਨਕ ਬੱਸ ਸੇਵਾਵਾਂ ਨਾਲ ਸਿੱਧਾ ਜੋੜਿਆ ਗਿਆ ਹੈ।
ਜੇਕਰ ਯਾਤਰੀ AT HOP ਕਾਰਡ ਦੀ ਵਰਤੋਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ 30 ਮਿੰਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਬੱਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਤਬਦੀਲੀ ਕਰਦੇ ਹਨ, ਤਾਂ ਬੱਸ ਯਾਤਰਾ ਮੁਫ਼ਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨਾਂ ਦੇ ਉਦਘਾਟਨ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਸ਼ਨੀਵਾਰ, 1 ਅਗਸਤ ਨੂੰ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਲਈ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਸੈਸ਼ਨ ਰੱਖੇ ਜਾਣਗੇ।
ਡਰੂਰੀ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ: ਸਵੇਰੇ 10:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 12:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ।
ਪਾਏਰਾਤਾ ਸਟੇਸ਼ਨ: ਦੁਪਹਿਰ 2:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਮ 4:00 ਵਜੇ ਤੱਕ।

train services reopen after 50 years
Auckland’s South is getting its first train stations in more than 50 years. The new Drury and Paerātā railway stations will officially open to passengers on Sunday, August 2, restoring passenger rail services to the area for the first time since 1972.
These new stations are part of the broader Southern Line. Key details for the launch include:
Connections: Both stations feature 350-space park-and-ride facilities and connect directly to new, local bus services.
Cost: Connecting bus journeys are free if you transfer within 30 minutes using your AT HOP card.
Community Info Day: Ahead of the opening, you can check out the stations and ask questions at public sessions on Saturday, August 1 (10am–12pm at Drury, and 2pm–4pm at Paerātā). [1, 2]
